1976 Blondie (11)

Blondie's first album. Five fine songs: "X Offender", "In The Flesh", "A Shark In Jets Clothing", "In The Sun" and "Rifle Range". And six disappointments: "Kung Fu Girls", "The Attack Of The Giant Ants", "Look Good In Blue", "Man Overboard", "Little Girl Lies" and "Rip Her To Shreds".

1978 Plastic Letters (12)

The best track on the album is "Denis", an excellent cover of "Denise" (1963). There are also four fine tunes: "Bermuda Triangle Blues (Flight 45)", "I Didn't Have The Nerve To Say No", "I'M Always Touched By Your Presence Dear" and "I'M On E". But the rest is quite disappointing: "Detroit 442", "Kidnapper", "Cautious Lip", "Love At The Pier", "Youth Nabbed As Sniper", "Fan Mail", "No Imagination" and "Contact In Red Square".

1978 Parallel Lines (10)

Blondie's best album. Three timeless classics: "Heart Of Glass", "Pretty Baby" and "Sunday Girl". Six good songs: "Just Go Away", "One Way Or Another", "11:59", "Will Anything Happen?", "I Know But I Don't Know" and "Picture This". One disappointment: "Fade Away And Radiate". There are also two cover songs: excellent "I'M Gonna Love You Too" and fine "Hanging On The Telephone".

1979 Eat To The Beat (12)

Two excellent tunes: "Dreaming" and "Union City Blue". Six fine songs: "Atomic", "The Hardest Part", "Slow Motion", "Shayla", "Die Young Stay Pretty" and "Living In The Real World". And four disappointments: "Sound-A-Sleep", "Accidents Never Happen", "Eat To The Beat" and "Victor".

1980 Autoamerican (10)

Two covers: superb "The Tide Is High" (the best tune on this album and arguably Blondie's greatest song) and weak "Follow Me". Eight very good songs: "Angels On The Balcony", "Go Through It", "Do The Dark", "Here's Looking At You", "Live It Up", "Walk Like Me", "Rapture" and "T-Birds". Two disappointments: "Europa" and "Faces".

1982 The Hunter (10)

Eight good songs: "Island Of Lost Souls", "Danceway", "Dragonfly", "English Boys", "Orchid Club", "For Your Eyes Only", "Little Caesar" and "Can I Find The Right Words To Say". Two disappointments: "War Child" and "The Beast". "The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game" is a good cover song.

1999 No Exit (13)

Nine good songs: "Maria", "Screaming Skin", "No Exit", "Forgive And Forget (Pull Down The Night)", "Nothing Is Real But The Girl", "Under The Gun", "Boom Boom In The Zoom Zoom Room", "Double Take" and "Dig Up The Conjo". Four disappointments: "The Dream's Lost On Me", "Night Wind Sent", "Happy Dog" and "Divine". "Out In The Streets" is a fine cover song.

2003 The Curse Of Blondie (14)

Seven fine songs: "Last One In The World", "Good Boys", "Rules For Living", "Background Melody (The Only One)", "The Tingler", "Songs Of Love" and "Hello Joe". And seven disappointments: "End To End", "Magic (Asadoya Yunta)", "Diamond Bridge", "Undone", "Shakedown", "Golden Rod" and "Desire Brings Me Back".

2011 Panic Of Girls (9)

Nine great songs: "What I Heard", "Mother", "Wipe Off My Sweat", "Le Bleu", "Love Doesn't Frighten Me", "D-Day", "The End The End", "Words In My Mouth" and "China Shoes". "Girlie Girlie" and "Sunday Smile" are cover songs. 

2014 Ghosts Of Download (12)

Five great songs: "A Rose By Any Name", "Rave", "I Want To Drag You Around", "Sugar On The Side" and "Winter". One bizarre, but interesting tune: "Make A Way". Six weak tracks: "Backroom", "Take It Back", "Take Me In The Night", "Euphoria", "Mile High" and "I Screwed Up". "Relax" is a disappointing cover song. "A Rose By Any Name" and "Sugar On The Side" were previously released as singles in 2013. 

2017 Pollinator (11)

A terrific album. Eight great songs: "Long Time", "Doom Or Destiny", "Too Much", "Fun", "Already Naked", "My Monster", "Best Day Ever" and "Gravity". And three fine tunes: "Fragments", "Love Level" and "When I Gave Up On You".
